When we were looking for a good, comprehensive piece of exercise equipment, we were directed to the Body Solid Olympic Bench with Leg Developer as a possibility. Before making our purchase, we wanted to do some in depth research into the features of this product and what others buyers have thought after purchasing.
What Are The Features of the BodySolid Olympic Bench?
We were pretty shocked at the amount of features on this piece of equipment when compared to the price. This is an all-in-one flat bench that also turns into an incline bench, decline bench, shoulder press and leg developer. It also has a set of multi-position, telescoping uprights which securely hold the bar for bench exercises.
The 6 position DuraFirm seat back is adjustable and has a lot of extra thickness. There is a 6-roller leg extension/leg curl station that allows you to tone and strengthen your leg muscles as well.
How is the Body Solid Olympic Bench Built?
This unit appears to be very sturdy with a high-tensile strength welded steel mainframe. It measures 46 x 43 x 77 and has a lifetime warranty. With the extra thick seat, this machine is said to be extremely comfortable. That is a good thing because who wants to be uncomfortable while working out?
The oversized foam rollers also help add to the comfort of the machine. You can go through major lower body routines with full support. The product also has a full lifetime warranty so there are no worries about getting it and not being able to return it.
What Do Other Customers Think?
As with any major fitness purchase, you always want to check out what other buyers thought once they were able to use the product. After all, it can be hard to tell a lot about something when it is online. This product has some great reviews with very few negative comments. Here are a few snippets of reviews found online:
“I purchased this bench 7 months ago and have been very happy with it. It’s sturdy, and meets my benching needs (I rep with 225 lbs). In addition, I use it to brace myself when doing dumbbell rows and the leg extension is a nice plus.”
“I got this bench as a birthday present two months ago. I am satisfied with it. The supports on the bench are sturdy as weights up to 300 do not appear to cause it any stress. The bench is adjustable down to a decent decline and up to military press position. The padding on the bench much more comfortable than the standard gym equipment, too.”
“This was my first Bench Press I have ever purchased and it is great. It looks even better in person. The Quality of the metal used, down to the seats are great!”
The only real negative comments that we could find were that the leg developer is not compatible with Olympic weights and sometimes the packaging is not as secure as it could be. Other than that, it looks like this machine is considered by most buyers to be a winner!
